Born and bred in Jersey I was educated at St Mary’s parish school and then Jersey College for Girls. I graduated from St Bartholomews Medical School in London and then worked in Australia for a year. My post graduate jobs took me to Brighton and Bath where I worked as an emergency doc, anaesthetist, paediatrician, obstetrician, gynaecologist, care of elderly doctor and then onto General Practice after an ENT job. Along the way I have taken several medical exams and am currently studying for a diploma in sexual and reproductive health.
I enjoy the challenges of Prison medicine and particularly relish caring for and treating my patients. My specialities include gynaecology and family planning as well as enjoying dermatology. I am married to another doc, Adam and have two children, Ella and Holly. I love family life, horse riding, boating, skiing and not least taking the family dog, Alfie, for long walks on St Ouen’s beach.
