Carole has been the resident counsellor/psychotherapist, working with the doctors, at Castle Quay since its inception in 2013. During this time, she has supported clients with a range of issues, and a range of ages, including a 4-year-old, an 84-year-old and all ages in-between.
She is an accredited member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists and on the local Health Care Register. In addition to the Advanced Diploma in Counselling she holds qualifications in bereavement and, as a qualified teacher, a degree level Certificate in working with children and young people.
Her service is confidential, non-judgemental, relaxed and data protected. Nothing is considered too big, too small or too ‘silly’. Support is offered in a wide range of areas, which include:
Anxiety, stress and panic attacks
Bereavement and loss
Life changes and trauma
Work related issues
Children and Young People
During the Pandemic she has been offering on-line sessions, but with the lifting of restrictions, face-to-face appointment have resumed. Self-referrals are welcome, as are referrals from all professionals.
